Valentino is a great Italian fashion house which was created in Rome in the 1950s. It has given itself a real identity and has always placed flowers, and especially the rose, at the heart of its compositions. Moreover, it is not the bottles of the Valentina Assoluto perfumed range that will come to prove us the opposite. In addition, the latter are adorned with a huge, particularly elegant couture rose. Well, know that a new one of them is currently appearing on the perfume market. Valentino has also just presented his brand new creation: Valentina Myrrh Assoluto.
A look back at the Valentina Assoluto collection by Valentino
Although it is a new perfume, let us note that the perfume Valentina Myrrh Assoluto emanates from an olfactory collection that saw the light of day a few years ago. Indeed, it all started with the release of Valentina Assoluto in 2012. It was then described as a chypre fragrance embodying all the femininity of Italian women. Very quickly, it was followed, in 2013, by its version Oud Assoluto. As its name suggests, this perfume then gave pride of place to oud wood while accompanying it with Bulgarian roses and leather. Then, in 2014, it was Rosa Assoluto’s turn to make her appearance. It was then a question of portraying to us the image of a woman “much more nocturnal, more attractive. ” However, these three compositions all have a very oriental universe combining the richness of the Middle East with the avant-gardism of our time. The new Valentina Myrrh Assoluto is therefore fully anchored in this continuity and offers us a scent just as seductive as that of its elders.
Discovering the new Valentina Myrrh Assoluto
Also, Valentina Myrrh Assoluto is clearly identifiable by its bottle. Indeed, it is strongly reminiscent of that of its predecessors. Valentina Myrrh Assoluto is contained in an elliptical shaped bottle, with a large seam in gray color. The whole is particularly elegant and is still topped with a gold stroke and a black pearl as a cabochon. In addition, the scent of Valentina Myrrh Assoluto then keeps all its promises of refinement. As its name suggests, it then puts myrrh at the heart of its composition. This very old resin was already used in perfumery at the time of Ancient Egypt. Nevertheless, it is here worked in a more contemporary way. It then delivers us its humid, sweet, medicinal, aniseed and spicy scent. It does however complement other ingredients. Jasmine comes in particular to enrich all of its particularly fragrant, flowery, powerful and heady tones. Its slightly orange side is however softened by the smoother and rounder hue of vanilla. Ylang-ylang, meanwhile, enriches this composition with its exoticism. Finally, it all ends with a more animal part emanating from leather and musk.
Valentino is an Italian brand recognized all over the planet and particularly appreciated for its evening dresses. In this case, poppy red and the letter V are its hallmarks. Nevertheless, in recent years, Valentino has also specialized in the perfume sector. Its essences then want to live up to the reputation of the house and fans of the brand are eager to see this olfactory collection grow. Also, then you will no doubt be delighted to learn that Valentino has just launched a whole new essence. Valentina Myrrh Assoluto is currently entering the scene and intends to bewitch us with her warm, sensual and luxurious scent.
The warm sensuality of Valentina Myrrh Assoluto
It is therefore to two renowned perfumers that we owe this olfactory creation. Indeed, Valentina Myrrh Assoluto was developed by the talented Olivier Cresp and Hamid Merati-Kasha. As the name of this perfume suggests, they have chosen to place myrrh at the heart of their composition. It is a very old resin, already used in the days of Ancient Egypt, and coming from a tree cultivated in Somalia, Ethiopia and South Africa. This then gives Valentina Myrrh Assoluto a very complex scent. In particular, there is a moist aspect associated with spicy touches reminiscent of saffron, coriander or cloves. Likewise, Valentina Myrrh Assoluto has a sweeter part, almost similar to the scent of caramel. Furthermore, at the same time, its animal character is loaded with greed thanks to scents somewhat aniseed and sometimes close to liquorice. Jasmine, meanwhile, gives the whole a more flowery and heady facet. The ylang-ylang then reinforces this effect. Vanilla then in turn develops a smoother and more leathery sensation. Finally, it all ends in a burst of sensuality thanks to the animality of leather and musk. Valentina Myrrh Assoluto is then presented to us in an elliptical bottle. This one displays generous curves typically feminine. What’s more, its gray color is particularly elegant. The whole is adorned with a very voluminous couture rose and is still topped with a gold collar and a black pearl as a stopper. The whole thus becomes particularly refined.
The history of the Valentina Assoluto collection by Valentino
Nevertheless, if Valentina Myrrh Assoluto is indeed a new perfume, it is not without evoking its predecessors. Indeed, there is a collection of perfumes in the same theme already counting three compositions to its credit. It all started in 2012 with the release of Valentina Assoluto gasoline. It was then an Italian chypre embodying all the quintessence of the brand’s femininity. Very quickly, this was followed by Oud Assoluto, a more oriental variation of its scent highlighting oud wood and completing it with a Bulgarian rose and leather. Likewise, Rosa Assoluto made her appearance in 2014. This one was already developed by Olivier Cresp and conveyed the image of a woman “much more nocturnal, more attractive. »Cyprus was then always at the heart of his composition, revealing all its power and elegance. Thus, Valentina Myrrh Assoluto appears to be a new olfactory journey to the heart of the very luxurious, refined and seductive world of the House of Valentino.
